Engineering Machines Around the Application
BP Automation designs custom machines around the customer’s application, not around a generic template. Our engineering work can include machine layouts, mechanical design, controls architecture, fixtures, tooling, guarding, operator interfaces, motion control, robotics, inspection systems, and manufacturable production drawings.
The design stage connects the original industrial problem to a buildable machine plan, giving customers a clear path from concept to manufactured equipment.
For Western Canada customers, this can mean adapting a proven BP Automation machine platform or creating a new machine from the ground up.
This planning step also helps identify practical constraints before fabrication begins, including available floor space, operator access, safety guarding, maintenance clearance, cycle-time targets, inspection requirements, and how the machine will connect with upstream and downstream production equipment.
BP Automation will assess material requirements, manufacturing methods, and product specifications to design a working prototype with production and manufacturing in mind.
